My 5 year old son, Amsyar was attended to by Keshna when she came to my centre for our BG104. I had asked Keshna to help my son with his anger issues and his articulation. Keshna began by doing PACE with Amsyar; sip water, Brain Button, Cross Crawl and Hook Ups. Later on, Keshna allowed my son to play with the Lazy 8 Board.
After his session with Keshna, I noticed that Amsyar was calmer and contented. He didn't yell anymore (for at least 3 days), he didn't throw any tantrums and he listens and accepts my explanations if his request was not fulfilled.

SOO TENG, 29, who runs an after school programme has found Brain Gym to be an effective tool to help the children under her care to achieve consistency and confidence in their daily routine.
I wanted to create a relaxed environment to enable children to take to their daily routine in an optimistic and productive manner. I realized that the more grounded children are, the calmer they will be; thus making them emotionally stable and ready to face the rigours of a daily routine.
The practice of Brain Gym movements has and continues to help the children under my care build a mindset that reacts to situations with a positive energy.
I have a girl aged five, who does not enjoy writing Chinese characters. She comes from a non-Chinese speaking background and her adverse reaction to this task is clearly understandable. I introduced the Brain Gym movements to her, specifically those that would stimulate her motor skills.
After three weeks, I noticed that she showed a keener interest in her writing assignments. I also noticed that when she experienced difficulties during the task, she would go to the Brain Gym corner which I have set up for Brain Gym activities; and there she would pick out a Brain Gym activity to do. When she completed the activity, she would diligently resume her writing assignment.
There have been instances recently where she has asked me to guide her through certain movements; which I found surprising for a child who is normally reserved and shy. Her asking for help is a huge step in how she is managing her environment.
I have also observed that the children in general are looking forward to the daily Brain Gym sessions; so much so that they request for the sessions. Parents have also mentioned that they find their children calmer at home. Another parent has observed that her child, who used to whine when it came to doing homework, would now do his homework at his own behest.
Brain Gym has helped me create an environment which spurs creativity, instead of one which is stressful whenever it came to the children accomplishing their daily routines. We cannot run away from the academic expectations that are put on us but we can help create an environment that nurtures independence that cultivates intentional and purposeful learning.

Maya (nama samaran), seorang anak comel berumur 6 tahun.

My client was a 6year old who washaving trouble with his math calculation. I could see he was getting frustrated watching his classmates "get it." I took him to another room and we did a few math problems which he naturally struggled to do.
I got him to do PACE: sip water, brain buttons, cross crawl and hook ups. I also did thinking caps on him and he giggled and I massage his neck as he slowly tuned his head left to right. At the end we both did huge lazy eights in the air laughing, then on paper. We drank more water. We then redid the math problems and he got it immediately. The joy in his face was my reward. He was thrilled that he "got it". It all took 12 mins. A few days later, he still remembered.

My student is 5 years old, boy. He has a speech delay and some other learning difficulties which was not diagnose. When his first month in school (January) he was in 4 years old class due to his delayed milestones, he preferred it that way too since he can play more in that class. When teacher was talking in the class he would walk around and explore each corner of that classroom, and even the whole school. He was always forward and so keen in everything.
In February He was one of my clients during my Brain Gym® 104 case studies. The pre-activity that I asked him to do was soldier crawl.
During the 1st noticing, he could only crawl with left leg. Cannot alternately with the right side. He chose the first Brain Gym® card which was Energy Yawn. After energy yawn, he started to use his left leg but stop using the right leg.
2nd Brain Gym® he chose was The Thinking Cap, which helped him to use both legs now, but each leg will take 2 steps
The last Brain Gym® was The Brain Button. Finally, he could use both legs to do soldier crawl now alternately.
I’m very amazed after 3 movements the he can do soldier crawl much better and listened to my instruction better!
After a month of applying those Brain Gym® movements (not regular due to his absence to school), he is now in his own 5 years old class and sometimes interested to join the class activities. I am excited to see more of his development progress soon!
